Marison Bilagody is a part-time staff photographer for Arizona Athletics. Previously, he worked as a photo intern for Arizona Athletics and as a senior photographer for the Arizona Daily Wildcat. Open to freelance work in the Tucson and Phoenix area.
Originally from Tuba City, AZ on the Navajo Reservation. He is Navajo and Apache. He grew up in both State College, PA and Tuba City. While growing up, he played both football and baseball until he graduated from Tuba City High School in 2018.
He began taking photos in Fall 2019 after his first year at the University of Arizona. In his first year, he captured the Spring 2020 Drew Gyorke Photojournalism Award.
In Fall 2022, he started working for Arizona Athletics as a photo intern. He was awarded the 2022 James Alan Cox Foundation Scholarship for his photo series of the Arizona football game vs North Dakota State.
He is a graduate of the School of Journalism at the University of Arizona with a degree in digital journalism and a minor in studio art with an emphasis in photography.
In 2024, he was a recipient of the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund Development Grant.
In his free time, he watches football, tinkers with computers, explores Tucson and enjoys going to the rec center on campus.
